At the 2013 Magic History Conference, the entire group was taken to the International Printing Museum in Carson, California for a hands-on history of printing. Each attendee was allowed to print a specially designed broadside on a circa 1860 Poco Press. The broadside (measuring 6.5 by 17 inches) was designed using antique type and an original copper plate from Willard the Wizard. The featured acts are Mike Caveney presenting Carter’s Spirit Cabinet, Jim Steinmeyer presenting Sawing an Egg, and John Gaughan presenting Astarte.
