6 laminated Brochures
There was a time when every magician needed a brochure to advertise his or her act. The more elaborate your brochure, the more successful you appeared to be. Today, these printed promotional pieces are quaint relics from another time. Click through the additional photos to see the inside of each one.
Norton the Magician - Even though you’ve never heard of him, when this brochure was printed Norton had already given more than 2,500 performances throughout all 48 states. He was a regular on the Chatauque circuit and his show lasted between 90 minutes and 2 hours. Some tears have been repaired with tape but now the plastic lamination makes it virtually indestructible.
Loring Campbell - A very busy performer from the 1920s to the 1960s, appearing in Lyceum, Chautauqua, and doing school shows, thousands and thousands of school shows. Includes a list of all the tricks that made up his full show, facts about his career, and numerous testimonials. Plastic laminated, fine condition.
